Your participation is needed and appreciated!
If you want Sangha App to exist, please download, use and enjoy it! It’s hard to have everything without users ’activity. We need your help to keep going forward! Every user can add info about Community retreats, organize practice, schedule of local groups and also meetups for relaxing and enjoying together. We will be very grateful if you will add events, and report missing info about Gars or Lings. You can invite practitioners around you and show them how it works. And of course, write us your insights, feedbacks and bugs that you discovered. We are connected, it is a common project for all of us. Thank you!
Efficiency and Clarity in our communications
It is important for us to feel empowered by our use of technology and to keep in mind we are working with confidential Teaching's, Community and Personal Data.
As we all know, working with circumstance is one of the main principles of integrating our practice with daily life. It is clear now that for most of us technology and its devices, such as smartphones, have become a mainstay of everyday existence. The immediate connectivity and efficiency of this in our communications certainly can bring great benefit.
But at the same time we can see the risks involved with these ubiquitous networks and tools which are connecting us all instantly across the worldwide web. Issues of safety and security for our personal information, as well as how and what we share with the wider world, are constantly arising.
All of us in the Dzogchen Community need to connect, communicate and support each other, perhaps now more than ever. But recent events with our methods of collective communications have shown our need for greater control and privacy than the different social network tools like Facebook can provide us, especially since they are designed for public consumption. Therefore uploading our personal and Community content onto those other platforms does not provide us with the ability to determine the future of that content and the way that we present, own, or archive our digital communications.
