There are three ways in which you can connect to another practitioner: Follow, Message and Show Affection.
The function to send affection is used to express more than friendship. It can be affection for a close friend, affectionate support to someone you know is going through a hard time, or it can be romantic interest. Here is how to use it:
- Prepare your profile

- Click on the picture in the middle of the Home screen.
- Click on the card with your name and essential data.
- Use your real name and a good picture so people can recognize you. Include a nice description of yourself and of your interests.
2. Find the person you wish to show affection to.
There are different ways to see other practitioners in the app. Here is how.
- Once you have found the person, open their profile and click “Show affection.”

They will receive a notification in the app about it.
You will see on their profile “Affection sent.”
If they send you back affection, you will receive a notification, and the icon will change to “Mutual affection.”
- You can also message the person.
Don’t continue to insist if you don’t receive an answer. If you are unsure how to behave, read our Terms and conditions.
- See who has sent you affection.
To see a list of people who have sent you affection and to whom you have sent affection, go to the “People” section and use the funnel icon.

You can enter the “Connection” type. Choose from three options: “Mutual affection,” “Affection sent,” or “Affection received.”
